Mind-body
Learn how to integrate mind-body fitness traditions such as yoga, pilates and tai chi into your group fitness classes. These traditions offer loads of options for group exercise settings, such as full body movement, balance, strength and flexibility.
Delivered by qualified Fitness Alberta Trainer-educators with extensive experience in mind-body disciplines, content includes:
- alignment
- safety
- class components
- movement combinations
- safe progressions
This minimum 16-hour course may include, but is not limited to disciplines such as yoga, pilates, tai chi, or nia.
To register for this course we recommend that you are currently registered in, or have completed the Fitness Alberta Foundations in Physical Activity and Exercise course. (You do not have to have written your Foundations exam).
